Elenagt19 > Another try at the Blue weevil, Eupholus bennetti. Having trouble capturing the iridescent sheen this weevil gives off to the eye. Not quite right here.

Elenagt19 > In spite of its dazzling looks and imposing name this creature pushes poop for a living. It is also known as the Argentine Rainbow Dung Beetle, a scarab.
Elenagt19 > This is a test of a treatment of the logo of a collaborator. The collaborator is The Anita C. Leight Estuary Center at Otter Point, Maryland. They are located only a few miles from Aberdeen Proving Ground on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. They are interested in using the photo stacking device Tony is developing for the Army in their field research to develop both displays and research data. Their logo is a really cool black and white line drawing of a river otter chasing a yellow perch with their name typed in the circle formed by the chase. The circle of course is symbolic of the circular relationship in the food chain that drives an ecosystem. The challenge was incorporating that into our "specimen on black" format and adding some subtle color without detracting from the elegance of the design. This is our first attempt.
